On an adventure trip that takes us all the way to the Sahara, we immerse ourselves in Dietrich's incredible biography. Starting with the main protagonist, Dietrich Kuhlbrodt, the film will weave a dense web of memories, encounters with friends and companions, archival footage, visits to biographically charged places, and the very ordinary, mad everyday life of the now 89-year-old.
