Tour de Franzi

After her parents split up, FRANZI (10) decides to go on the failedfamily vacation alone. However, she has not reckoned with her new step-brother AMADOU (11). He hooks up with Franzi, and together the unlikely duo must overcome the challenges of the adventurous "Tour de Franzi" to bring their patchwork family closer together.

FRANZI (10) dreams of riding her bike with her parents to Paris for the greatest spectacle in cycling: the Tour de France! But everything turns out differently.

After her parents split up, she has to move in with her mother THEA (37), her new boyfriend DEMBA (38) and his son AMADOU (11). But that still does not make them a family, Franzi finds. Her step-brother gets on her nerves and her mother hardly has time for her. When she moves in with her father LOUIS (36), she is told that there will be no tour! No way, Franzi thinks. From now on, she is on her own in "Team Franzi", but she has set herself a much crazier goal: she wants to cross the finish line of the Tour de France in Paris and show everyone what she can do! Her step-brother Amadou has been assigned by Thea to take care of Franzi because she is a diabetic. This does not suit her at all. First, she can take good care of herself; second, he is not even her real brother. Amadou wants to be with his biological mother in Paris for his 12th birthday and threatens Franzi to tell the truth about her trip if she does not take him with her. The journey begins! However, the two quarreling siblings must first become a team to overcome the unforeseen dangers and challenges that lurk along the way. An ill-fated trip to the real Tour de France route turns Franzi into an Internet star, and she even recruits some French kids to join her team. But time is running out, the finish line of the Tour de France is approaching, and their worried parents are on their heels. The "Tour de Franzi" will soon become the "Tour d'Enfance", the children's tour, which is about much more than just crossing the finish line on the Champs-Elysée. After missing the finish line, the team helps Amadou find his mother in Paris. In the end, the crazy trip has not only brought the siblings closer together, but also their patchwork family
